  13.                            INTRODUCTION
  14.                            ============

  16. BANK-PLAN is a "shareware" program. IT IS NOT "freeware", 
  17. public domain software etc. After a free initial 30-day trial 
  18. period, every user who wishes to continue using BANK-PLAN must 
  19. register with the author, Invest-Tech. 
  20.  
  21. Invest-Tech Limited is a member of the Association of Shareware 
  22. Professionals (ASP). ASP wants to make sure that the shareware principle 
  23. works for you. If you are unable to resolve a shareware-related problem 
  24. with an ASP member by contacting the member directly, ASP may be able to 
  25. help. The ASP Ombudsman can help you resolve a dispute or problem with 
  26. an ASP member, but does not provide technical support for members' 
  27. products. Please write to the ASP Ombudsman at 545 Grover Road, 
  28. Muskegon, MI 49442-9427 USA, FAX 616-788-2765 or send a CompuServe

  31. In return for registering, a user receives the latest fully-
  32. operational version of BANK-PLAN with its 100-page spiral-bound 
  33. printed manual (incorporating tutorial exercises etc.) and gains 
  34. access to full support etc.

  36. For details of the User Licence Agreement for BANK-PLAN, refer to
  37. the accompanying README.TXT file.

  39. The Registration Fee is 30 pounds (sterling or Irish) plus
  40. VAT (at 21%), or US$45.

  42.   DO NOT ADD VAT if:

  44.   Your business is located in an EU State other than Ireland
  45.   and you quote its VAT number when registering.
  46.   *or*
  47.   You are located outside the European Union.

  49.   ADD THE VAT (6.30 pounds) if you are located (a) in Ireland
  50.   or (b) in another EU State and are not registered for VAT.

  52.      [If you wish to secure a copy of CASH-PLAN, the more 
  53.      powerful version of BANK-PLAN, substitute 50 pounds for 
  54.      30 pounds (US$80 for US$45). The corresponding VAT amount 
  55.      is 10.50 pounds.]

  57. If located outside the UK or Ireland, add 10% for shipping etc.

  59. Payment can be made by credit card (Visa, Access, MasterCard or 
  60. Eurocard). This is the preferred method.

  63. postal money orders and Eurocheques are acceptable provided that 
  64. they are denominated in pounds sterling, US$ or Irish pounds.

  70. hours of receipt of payment.

  76. Invest-Tech, use the numbers listed at the end of this document.

  86. our World Wide Web (WWW) site on the Internet using a credit 
  87. card and its special built-in forms. See bottom of file for

  89. contains downloadable versions of *ALL* our financial planners 
  90. for businesses and the home. It also offers useful advice in 
  91. the form of text files on such topics as business planning, 
  92. cashflow forecasting etc. as well as lots of other interesting 
  93. stuff.

  138. via SWREG and immediately send us a separate CIS message quoting your 
  139. copy's unique 12-digit code number and advising of registration through 
  140. SWREG. Once notified by SWREG of your registration, we will send you the 
  141. corresponding Upgrade Code Number in a CIS mail message and post the 
  142. manual by 1st Air Mail.
